  • Third-year student Cassandra Yip (Major in NUS Environmental Studies, Minors in Global Studies and Economics) is rolling out ground-up initiatives to address environmental issues. She is the founder of Earth School Singapore (ESS), Singapore’s first non-profit school for environmental education and the co-founder of the NUS Chapter of Student Energy, consisting of a network of youth organisations advocating for sustainable energy.

Cassandra, with her dad, as she meets an ocean sunfish for the first time in Marine World Uminonakamichi in Fukuoka, Japan. The sunfish has since become her favourite animal.
