5 Sep: Great job to all 27 teams who submitted their cases! We will announce the finalists on 14 Sep.

15 Sep: the 10 teams that are entering the finals are announced!

21 Sep: all students are welcome to attend as an audience member the final round at 7pm, 21 Sep, @ NUS Science LT27.

22 Sep: congratulations to all teams and the top-3 teams of the competition: NUSCrisis (1st), Greta Thunbergs (2nd), and EcoMinds (3rd).

Announcement

Format

Eligibility

  • The competition is open to all currently registered NUS students.

 

Requirement

  • Participate either as a team or solo. Students are free to add or change team members throughout the duration of the case competition and you can have as many members in your team as you want. All team members should be current NUS students.

 

Preliminary Round

  • Create a compelling case of no more than 3,000 words. Where appropriate, use infographics to support your arguments. The case will be evaluated by a panel of NUS Faculty members. In evaluating the proposals, the judges will look for ingenuity, practicality, and enforceability. Solutions supported by research, facts and statistics, and those that are rigorously argued, will be favourably considered.

 

Final Round

  • Ten finalists will present their cases on-stage in no more than 10 mins with visual aid. The judges will comprise of member(s) of NUS Faculties and
    representatives from our competition partners. The presentations will be evaluated based on content and delivery.

 

Prizes

  • The top three teams will receive cash prizes of 1,500SGD, 1,000SGD and 500SGD.
  • The 10 finalists will each receive a 60SGD hotpot F&B voucher.
  • The 10 finalists will each receive 1,000USD Alibaba Cloud credits.
