Question: How do I plan my timetable?
Celeste Ng (Year 4, Major in Life Sciences, Minor in Public Health and Economics) says, “I always select modules based on interests instead of having a shorter work week because I believe that it is crucial to study what you like! It is important to have a study plan for all four years because it gives you a rough gauge of what to take every semester. However, it is fine if your plan changes every semester because your interests will change along the way, so just adjust your plan accordingly!”
Celeste believes that university life is more than just studies, and actively pursues a holistic campus experience. She participates in NUS Rugby and NUS Handball, which she describes as her “best decisions” that had a big impact on her life and which continue to push her beyond her comfort zone.
She was also part of NUS Biathlon and NUS Sports Camp for a period of time. She says. “Sports clubs provide many opportunities to explore what you like, meet new people and learn new skills.”
