Overview

CHS offers a new way of teaching, learning and thinking that breaks students out of silos and emphasises the interface and interplay between disciplines. With access to the facilities and courses in both FASS and FOS, students have the freedom and flexibility to explore different subjects and chart their own pathway.

Common Curriculum

Our common curriculum comprises 13 courses, or one-third of the total curriculum. It is designed to impart essential foundational skills and broadens intellectual foundations. Click on the tab below for more information on the CHS Common Curriculum.

Multiple Pathways to Graduation

With guidance, students can chart individualised pathways through a variety of major and minor combinations, to decide how specialised or generalised they want their learning to be.

# A Double Degree Programme (DDP) with the College of Design and Engineering (CDE) is a possible pathway for CHS students, where Common Curriculum courses read can be mapped between CDE and CHS

Regardless of the pathway to graduation, our students can choose to be a versatilist, integrator or deep specialist. Which one will you be?
