Learning and Questioning: The Human Condition | Tay Jing Xuan

September 15, 2021

“The tutorials have been engaging and I have found the breakout sessions useful as everyone could voice their thoughts. There is a student group chat where we would go to seek one another's opinion on the themes discussed in class, and you get to meet people outside of your tutorial groups.” – Tay Jing Xuan (Year 1, NUS Psychology)

Sharing her experience in taking HSH1000 The Human Condition, Jing Xuan finds the module interesting as it exposes her to topics such as morality through a multidisciplinary perspective. The class enables students to strengthen their critical thinking, analytical and communications skills as they unpack the complexities of being human as articulated by philosophers and story-tellers in the course of history.
