Faculty Tour by NUS Students’ Science Club

This guided tour is led by undergraduate students from our various science academic programmes. The tour brings you around key facilities at the Faculty of Science such as the Medicine-Science Library, our study spaces, lecture theatres, the Student Hub and the Frontier canteen.

Science Demonstration Laboratory (SDL)

SDL was developed in the spirit of adopting a hands-on, minds-on approach to teaching and learning science. SDL highlights a variety of physical sciences demonstrations, allowing students and visitors to discover and rediscover science through visually and intellectually impactful science demonstrations.

The Surprising Science Workshop

This workshop will highlight the importance and universal role of science in our daily lives and make hands-on scientific experiments fun. The experiments range from watching sea fireflies glow, to making your own smartphone microscope and discovering the chemistry behind paper marbling and diapers. Our student guides will accompany and assist you in this short journey of discovery.

Planetarium

Navigate the night skies as you peek into the world of astronomy. In a dome-like Planetarium, you will gain some introductory knowledge on the cosmos through a mini hands-on activity and a show-and-tell.
