CHS Interdisciplinary Experience Panel
Beyond the Textbook: Play, Policy, and Plants
The CHS Interdisciplinary Experience Panel showcases why interdisciplinary learning matters and what it looks like in practice at CHS. Faculty will explore three timely real-world issues drawn from CHS interdisciplinary courses: why play matters for how we learn and thrive; what drugs reveal about health, risk, and regulation; and what plants can teach us about sustainability in Southeast Asia. Along the way, you’ll see what CHS students learn to do: integrate evidence, weigh trade-offs, and design ethical solutions that work in the world, not just on paper.
