Professor
Sow Chorng Haur
Prof Sow obtained his BSc and MSc in Physics from NUS and his PhD from the University of Chicago. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Bell Laboratories, Lucent Technologies before joining NUS' Department of Physics in 2001. His research interests include carbon nanotubes and graphene, and studies of nanostructured functional materials and their unique physical properties. He has authored and co-authored many papers in the field of nanoscience and nanomaterials. He is a recipient of multiple university- and faculty-level teaching excellence awards. Prof Sow is Vice Dean (Outreach and Admissions) at the Faculty of Science.

Joseph Park
Trained in the areas of sociolinguistics, linguistic anthropology, and discourse analysis, Prof Joseph Park's recent work has explored issues such as: language in globalisation, transnationalism and neoliberalism; English as a global language; and, representation of language in the media. Prof Park is Vice Dean (Undergraduate Studies) at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
