A conversation on interdisciplinary education with NUS President Professor Tan Eng Chye
April 7, 2021
In conjunction with the 1st anniversary of the launch of Teaching Connections, we present the inaugural episode of the Teaching Connections Podcasts, in which NUS President Professor Tan Eng Chye shares his thoughts on interdisciplinary education and how NUS will deliver interdisciplinary education through the establishing of colleges such as the College of Humanities and Sciences (CHS).
In the first episode of the Teaching Connections Podcasts, we are privileged to have NUS President Professor Tan Eng Chye share his insights on interdisciplinary education. In particular, with the NUS College of Humanities and Science (CHS) welcoming its inaugural cohort in the coming Academic Year, we hear from Prof Tan the reasons NUS is embarking on this bold teaching and learning direction, what it intends to achieve through the implementation of interdisciplinary education, and how we are creating a safe, effective, and conducive learning environment.
This episode is chaired by Dr Dujeepa SAMARASEKERA, Director of the Centre for Development of Teaching and Learning (CDTL).
